UW-Eau Claire alumna Sona Mehring, who received the Alumni Distinguished Achievement Award from the UW-Eau Claire Alumni Association May 21, was featured in the May 21 Leader-Telegram article "UW-Eau Claire alumna honored for founding CaringBridge website." Sona Mehring's son, Nick Mehring, and her nephew, James Hunter, who graduated from UW-Eau Claire May 21, also were mentioned in the article. In addition, all May 2011 Alumni Association award-winners were listed in a sidebar to the article. The Leader-Telegram article was reprinted in the May 23 issue of TMCnet.com.
