An Oct. 23 Scientific American article featured "Benefit or burden? Attraction in cross-sex friendship," research by April Bleske-Rechek, psychology, and UW-Eau Claire students published in August in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships. The research also was featured  in the following media:
