The Summer Sounds series, currently under way at UW-Eau Claire, will be previewed on Wisconsin Public Radio's "Spectrum West" June 22. Dr. Christa Garvey, music and theatre arts, will discuss the concerts and recitals that are part of the series. In addition, UW-Eau Claire social work students Kristina Malec and Emily Miller will discuss their efforts to bring music, memories and magic to local community members with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. The show can be heard on WHWC, 88.3 FM, beginning at 5 p.m. More information.
